Yunlin Motor Vehicles Office will provide general locomotive driver’s license tests as well as lectures on driving without a license under 18 years old on September 25, 2021. We welcome the public who wish to take these lectures.

Content	In order to meet the needs for the youngsters in school or busy office workers to take the general locomotive driver’s license tests on holidays, the Yunlin Motor Vehicles Office of the Directorate General of Highways will provide general locomotive driver’s license test as well as lectures on driving without a license under 18 years old on September 25, 2021. For those who apply for a general locomotive (light or heavy) driver's license test, please make an appointment at the [Motor Vehicle Office website: https://www.mvdis.gov.tw], the applicant must complete a physical examination before register to take the test. Applicant must register for the test before 8:30 a.m. on the day of the test appointment at the registration desk; if applying for the general locomotive (light or heavy) driver's license for the first time, the applicant should first complete a 2-hour course on safety in riding a locomotive and pass the written test and road test before receiving the license. The 2-hour course on safety in riding a locomotive is from 8:30 am to 10:30 am; the written test is from 10:30 am to 11:00 am; the road test is from 11:00 am to 11:45 am; the admission time for the lecture on driving without a license under the age of 18 is from 8:10 am to 8:30 am, and the lecture is from 8:30 am to 11:30 am (3 hours of lecture). We welcome young people or busy office workers to take advantage of the lectures. Yunlin Motor Vehicles Office reminds applicants that before taking the license test, they should complete a medical examination at a public hospital or health authority or a hospital designated by the Motor Vehicle Office, or at a clinic or group designated by the Motor Vehicle Office with inspection equipment and qualified medical personnel, and register the license test with a qualified medical form, ID card and two 1-inch color photos taken within the last two years.
