    As the September academic season approaches, convenient weekend stations are becoming available ~ Shinying Motor Vehicle Station will offer motorcycle license services on September 4, 2021 (Saturday)!

    ContentTo facilitate the needs of the working population and students who cannot visit motor vehicle agencies during working hours for their license exams, Shinying Motor Vehicle Station is offering a “Weekend Station" on the morning of September 4 (Saturday) for the public to enjoy quality and considerate services; the station manager Chen Chi-Wen made a reminder to the teenagers that a lack of sufficient knowledge of traffic safety awareness and traffic regulations can easily lead to serious accidents. Rather than trying to rush, the young should consider their own safety instead, and being safe on the road is the way to go.
    Registrations for “weekend station motorcycle examinations” are to be made through the Internet, where no on-site applications will be accepted if registered to full capacity. A total of 20 appointments are available for registration. Candidates can download the "Motor Vehicle Services App" or visit the Motor Vehicle Services website at https://www.mvdis.gov.tw (Examination Registration → Motorcycles → License Appointment Registration and Enquiry → New License Appointment Registration) to complete the online appointment registration process, or utilize the self-help counter of the Motor Vehicle Office to make an appointment. Registration ends at 24:00 one day prior to the examination date (i.e., no appointment can be made on the same day), and payment is due on the day of the examination during sign-in. Those who fail to complete the sign-in processes within the time limit will be considered to have forfeited their appointment!
    Prior to taking your license examination, please note that you must first apply for a medical examination at a public hospital, health center or hospital designated by the Motor Vehicle Office. On the day of your license examination, please submit your official ID card, a medical examination form valid within one year and a 1-inch photo taken within the last two years to the motor vehicle station before 08:30 a.m. to complete your sign-in.
    Applicants are required to complete a motorcycle safety training course upon completion of the initial examination and pass the written and road tests before receiving a license.

    II. Location: Shinying Motor Vehicle Station Office No. 2 (No. 55, Datong Road, Shinying District, Tainan City)
    III. Hours:
    (1) Service hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    (2) Service scope: Motorcycle examinations, motorcycle license safety training, Japanese translation of license, license replacement, professional license examination, vehicle (driver) residence and employment address application, and other services.
